The elegance of this style is told in simple lines.

I especially like the grains on the hefty backs. I believe a lot of thoughts had gone into the selection of each teak block before shaping happens.

Weaving of a seat takes about 5 hours, after all the nails are set.

The same style was also offered in oak, which is extremely strong and ages nicely.

It takes 47 ( or 24 + 23 pairs) round trips of Danish Paper cord to finish a seat.
Front to back, there are usually 17 pairs.

There are also black stained versions available on the market. Those are also very beautiful.
